Nthano Cultural Center is an emerging, women-led Zambian cultural tourism venture based in South Luangwa. We offer hands-on traditional cooking experiences where visitors prepare authentic local meals while discovering the stories, history and cultural traditions behind each dish. We will conduct an initial dry run on 31 October 2026 to test and refine our experience ahead of our planned official launch in July 2027. We are seeking strategic partnerships with safari lodges, tour operators and travel agents to generate bookings, as well as grant funding, sponsorships, mentorship and business development support to establish and grow the venture. We aim to celebrate Zambia's cultural heritage while creating opportunities for women and local communities through meaningful tourism experiences. We welcome connections with organisations, funders and individuals who share our vision for inclusive, locally rooted and sustainable cultural tourism.
