Randy Oigiangbe is the Founder and Managing Director of MegaCare Pharmacy, a Lagos-based pharmacy business built on the principle that "if MegaCare doesn't have it, it probably doesn't exist." Under Randy's leadership, MegaCare is moving beyond the traditional single-store pharmacy model, developing a flagship retail concept that applies a marketplace logic — similar to how ride-hailing platforms aggregate independent operators — to pharmaceutical supply, so that manufacturers, importers, distributors and specialty suppliers can plug into one retail environment rather than operate in fragmented silos. The vision extends beyond retail: MegaCare is being built to solve two structural problems in African healthcare — drug accessibility and affordable, reliable pricing — at scale, using technology, data and operational design rather than simply adding more shelf space. The long-term goal is a pan-African pharmacy network, starting with the largest and most efficient pharmacy in Nigeria and expanding across the continent.
